Found him on the 1870 Riga, Lenawee, Michigan census. He is mistakenly listed as Alice, age 13 and a female. [I suppose to a census taker Ellis sounds a lot like Alice]

Found him on the 1880 Riga, Lenawee, Michigan census (dist 166 img 10) as Ellis M. Finger age 23, living at home.

Found him on the 1900 Riga, Lenawee, Michigan census (dist 57 img 33) as Ellis M. Finger age 43, farmer, along with his wife and 4 children, and his widowed mother Maria.

Found him on the 1910 Blissfield, Lenawee, Michigan census (dist 56 img 17) as Elliss Finger, age 53, Laborer, railroad. Living next to him are his daughter Opal and her husband Robert McNutt.

See him on the 1920 Otsego, Allegan, Michigan census (dist 31 img 17) as Ellis Finger age 62. Address: 317 East Franklin

On the 1930 Otsego, Allegan, Michigan census, he is not listed, and his wife Lydia, is living with her daughter and son-in-law, Gladys and Milo Nichols. According to Gladys, he was in the county hospital at Allegan, following a stroke at work.
