Mrs. Frank Rockefeller, 97, of 64 Montgomery street, this village, died Tuesday, July 21, at the Northern Dutchess Health Center. The former Anna Fingar, Mrs. Rockefeller was born in Germantown on July 14, 1862, the daughter of Horace and Albertlna Weaver Fingar.
She lived in Vermont in her earlier life for 30 years, later returning to Germantown. She had resided In Rhinebeck for the last 14 years. She was a member of the Dutch Reformed Church in Germantown and of the Missionary Society of the church. She also was a member of the Germantown Garden Club and the Doreas Guild of the Dutch Reformed Church in this village.
Surviving are three nieces, Mrs. Fred H. Stickels of Livingston, Mrs. Wesley Closs and Miss Maude Fingar of Rhinebeck and a nephew, Lloyd Fingar of Florida.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2:30 o'clock Friday in the Dutch Reformed Church in Germantown. The Rev. Kenneth Cordes, pastor of the Reformed Church of Rhinebeck the Rev. John J. Arnold, former pastor of the church and the Rev. Kenneth Schields, pastor of the Germantown Reformed church, will officiate. Burial will be In the Germantown Reformed church cemetery. Bearers will be Fred Stickels, Wesley Closs and Henry and Lyle Lawrence. - The Rhinebeck Gazette July 23, 1959
