Penn Yan, June 24 - William O. Finger, aged 73, Penn Yan, R D. 1, died at Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital yesterday. He was an employee of the W. H. Fox and Son Paper Mill for approximately 40 years. He was admitted to the hospital on June 8th for treatment for injuries received to a fall while repairing the mill dam. Surviving are one daughter Miss Catherine Finger, at home three sons, Melvin of Buffalo Private John H. Finger of Miami Beach, Florida and Corp. Gordon Finger of Camp Seibert, And one brother, Melvin, of Penn Yan. - Geneva Daily Times June 24, 1943.
