Miss Hope Finger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry C. Finger, 25 Oakwood Boulevard, Poughkeepsie, became the bride of Staff-Sergeant Donald P. Flannagan, son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Flannagan, Millbrook, on Tuesday afternoon in St. Joseph's Rectory. The Rev. Charles J. McCabe, pastor, performed the ceremony. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Edna D. Finger, maid of honor. Charles Evans, Hartford, Conn., a cousin of the groom, was the best man. A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents after the ceremony. Mrs. Flannagan was graduated from Poughkeepsie High School and New Paltz State Teachers College where she was a member of the Theta Phi Sorority. She is a member of the Arlington Grade School faculty, having taught previously in the Millbrook Public Schools.
Staff-Sergeant Flannagan was graduated from Millbrook Memorial School and the Wood-Purinton Secretarial School. Before entering the service, he was employed at the Bank of Millbrook. He is station ina southern camp. Millbrook Round Table October 30, 1942

Hope V. Flannagan, age 95, of Poughkeepsie, died Saturday, November 3, 2012 at home in Poughkeepsie. Mrs. Flannagan was born September 7, 1917 in Poughkeepsie, NY. She is the daughter of the late
Harry and the late
Ella (Gue) Finger. She married
Donald P. Flannagan on October 27, 1942 at Millbrook, New York. She was predeceased by her husband,
Donald P. Flannagan on February 1987.
She retired in 1948 from Arlington Elementary Grade School as a Teacher.
Mrs. Flannagan was a member of Poughkeepsie United Methodist Church. She was a Stained Glass Artist and enjoyed doing oil painting, she Loved to travel and she enjoyed making sterling silver jewelery.
She is survived by daughter and son-in-law,

Michael And
Jen Holdsworth of Sanford, FLA. Hope was predeceased by her sisters,
Edna DuBois and
Jane Zimmer. -
