Found him on the 1850 Lehman, Pike, Pennsylvania census (img 10) as John Finger age 60, farmer. Also in his household is Elias Carras age 26, teacher.

His son Jacob's Civil War Pension Record states that he 'died from the effects of a fall at 70 years old.'
