Found him on the 1880 Clermont, Columbia, New York census (img 10) as Jacob C. Moore, age 58, farmer.

Found him on the 1900 Clermont, Columbia, New York census (dist 10 img 6) as Jacob Moore age 78, farmer. Father, mother born New York.

Jacob C. Moore had a slight shock of paralysis on Tuesday last. He is much improved at present. - The Columbia Republican August 18, 1904.

Jacob C. Moore had a severe stroke of paralysis last Sunday and for a week has been in a critical condition with no immediate prospect of improvement. - The Columbia Weekly Republican June 22, 1905.

Saturday morning at the age of 83, Jacob C. Moore died of paralysis. A good citizen, a kind neighbor and a consciencious christian has left us. - The Columbia Weekly Republican June 29, 1905.
