Mr. Donald S. Fingar, 81, of the Presbyterian Home, died August 24, 1984. He was born December 13, 1902 in Philmont, N.Y., the son of Charles A. and Mae Myers Fingar. He was educated in Utica schools and Colgate University.
On December 7, 1932, he was married to Rose Grieco. She died May 9, 1979.
Mr. Fingar was General Foreman for the North American Knitting Co. in Mansfield, Ohio, retiring in 1967. He returned to Utica at that time. He was a veteran of WW II and was of the Episcopalian faith.
Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Viola A. Hoover, of Rome, N.Y. several nieces and one nephew. He is predcesased by one brother, Leroy Fingar. The Observer Dispatch August 25, 1984
